To this committee shall be referred, in accordance with the rules, all
legislative instruments, messages, petitions, memorials and other matters relating to the
following subjects:
Pollution of air, water, and land and environmental control generally.
Air quality.
Environmental control and regulation generally.
Land pollution.
Hazardous waste regulation.
Solid waste regulation.
Laws regulating clean water, drinking water, and ground water.
