Environment Committee Jurisdiction

To this committee shall be referred, in accordance with the rules, all legislative instruments, messages, petitions, memorials and other matters relating to the following subjects:

• Pollution of air, water, and land and environmental control generally.
• Air quality.
• Environmental control and regulation generally.
• Land pollution.
• Hazardous waste regulation.
• Solid waste regulation.
• Laws regulating clean water, drinking water, and ground water.
