| The
Gainsharing Program is established under R.S.
39:87.6 as part of the Louisiana Government
Performance and Accountability Act.
Under
this program, state agencies are encouraged
to implement gainsharing plans for achievement
of efficiencies in their operations that
yield monetary savings. The employees responsible
for achievement of gainsharing plans and
the resulting efficiencies shall participate
in the benefits of such savings. This program
is administered by the commissioner of administration.
