The Capitol Security Office oversees all law enforcement and physical security within the state capitol complex. It provides physical security for the legislature, its members, officers and staff during official meetings or functions regardless of location, and promptly responds to situations that disrupt the general order of its jurisdiction. As the legislature’s primary point of contact for all law enforcement recommendations, it conducts investigations when necessary and provides guidance related to the overall security of the Capitol.
